Memoirs of Michael is not just the worst stories … it’s ALL the stories of our Panhandle residents who lived through the hurricane and are now committed to rebuilding. Every story is important because it is part of our collective history. In 100 years there will be another hurricane. It will turn from a category 2 into a category 4 over night. They will compare it Hurricane Michael. The stories we capture here will help residents prepare and will help them rebuild.
Ashley has worked in Public Relations for 15 years. She loves to write and believes everyone has a great story inside them waiting to be told. She survived a 7.3 magnitude earthquake that devastated Nepal in 2015 that shaped her view on post-disaster news reporting. She lives in Panama City with her beloved husband and two daughters.
Cierra has been a photographer for six years and runs CMC Photography in Panama City. She strives to capture the beauty of every person and every moment through her photos. She is an Air Force brat and moved to Panama City when she was 5-years-old. She has two fur babies named Peso and Ali.
